Hi. I bought Spearhead and Breakthrough in the UK and now live in Australia.
The original MOHAA plays fine. Both others don't.

Spearhead. Won't install. Keeps giving an error message "invalid path".

Berakthrough - installs fine, but when launching game I either get an get
error message about the server using version 2.30 whereas I have version
2.40 or it won't start and I get the pop-up asking whether I want to notify
Microshaft about the problem.

System specs are: 2600XP , 512Mb 2700 Ram, Radeon 8500 Pro graphics.
I have Pacific Assault so run DirectX 9, however dxdiag showed all is
running ok here so I guess this isn't the problem.

Any ideas people?

TIA.

If the game is region specific the only way it can know where it is, is
from Windows... Try to change the regional info in Windows and see if
that makes a difference... You may have to uninstall, than manualy
delete the directorys. Then run a reg cleaner to remove any references
to the game. Also with the ref to the PATH message don't mess with the
install, if it wants to install to a location, don't change it.

Along with the above, you can try this program:

http://www.flotserver.net/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=getit&lid=41

It's an MOH registry cleaner. I had a member of my clan use it and it fixed
problem he had with getting the game to run. You can also see the download
listed in my downloads section with the description before downloading:

http://www.flotserver.net/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=15

As far as changing the path, you can change the path and it won't be a
problem. I installed MOH on my D drive with no ill effects.

Fixed now.

The problem was that neither Spearhead or Breakthrough were able to see my
Allied Assault installation. I removed absolutely everything related to
MOHAA and reinstalled the lot from scratch and it's OK now. All I now need
is for Aussie internet to be brought up to the 20th century regarding speeds
and all will be well.

Thanks all.
